Identify Your Skin Type

Ever wondered what kind of skin you have - do you have combination skin or normal skin? The skincare products these days are tailored to suit most skin types, ranging from normal to combination skin and from dry to oily skin. It is important to identify your skin type so as to choose a suitable skincare product. Choosing the appropriate product for your skin type will ensure its effectiveness in working for your skin.

Here are some of the characteristics of the basic skin types you can identify with:

Normal Skin (Only a lucky few have it!)
Smooth Texture
No enlarged pores
Good Elasticity (pinch around the jawline: does it jump right back?)
Rosy colour
No black heads or blemishes

Dry Skin (A very fine skin prone to wrinkles)
No visible pores
Very thin almost transparent skin
Flaky
Droplets of perspiration appear only above upper lip
